Nursing Admission Circular 2025 for B.Sc and Diploma

Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council has started the program of admission of students for the academic year 2024-25 in public and private nursing and midwifery educational institutions. Through this program, students will be admitted to 4-year B.Sc in Nursing 3-year Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery, and 3-year Diploma in Midwifery courses. Nursing Admission Circular 2025

Nursing Admission Circular 2025 has been Published. Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council BNMC published this admission circular on 10 March 2025. This is the BSc in Nursing Admission circular and Diploma in Nursing Admission circular.

The admission process for B.Sc in Nursing, Diploma in Nursing Science, and Diploma in Midwifery courses will be done simultaneously.

As per the Nursing Admission Circular 2024-25, interested students must have the prescribed qualifications. Eligible students can apply online. Online application will start on 12 March 2025. The last date of application is 2 April 2025. The last date for paying the application fee is 3 April 2025.

Application Eligibility

To apply for B.Sc in Nursing, Diploma in Nursing, and Diploma in Midwifery courses, the applicant must be a Bangladeshi citizen. Also, the applicant must have passed the HSC or equivalent examination in 2023 or 2024. Applicant must have passed the SSC or equivalent examination in 2021 or 2022. Also for applying to B.Sc and Diploma courses, there should be separate eligibility.

  • B.Sc in Nursing: To apply for the 4-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing course, the applicant must have passed the SSC or equivalent and HSC and equivalent examinations from the science group. Minimum aggregate GPA of 7.00 in SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent examination. However, a GPA of less than 3.00 in any examination will not be acceptable. Must have a minimum GPA of 3.00 in Biology in both exams.
  • Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery: To apply for the Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery 3 years duration, one must pass SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent examination from any group. A minimum aggregate GPA of 6.00 is required for these two examinations. However, a minimum GPA of 2.50 in any examination will not be acceptable.
  • Diploma in Midwifery: Candidates must have a minimum GPA of 6.00 in SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent examination from any group to apply for the Diploma in Midwifery course of 3 years duration. However, a GPA less than 2.50 in any examination will not be acceptable.

Admission Form Fill-up

Detailed instructions regarding filling out the nursing admission form are available on the bnmc.gov.bd website. As per the instructions, students have to apply for admission to B.Sc in Nursing and Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery courses through the bnmc.teletalk.com.bd website. Follow the instructions below to fill out the nursing admission form 2025.

  • Access the bnmc.teletalk.com.bd website from a web browser.
  • Enter the application option and provide the student’s SSC or equivalent and HSC and equivalent information.
  • If there is a quota, the quota option must be selected.
  • The next step is to fill out the admission form with the required information.
  • Information regarding home district and quota should be provided.
  • Applicants must fill out the choice option of the institution.
  • The next step is to upload the image and signature.
  • If all the information is correct then the application form has to be submitted.

Application Fee Payment

On successful completion of the online application, the prescribed application fee has to be paid within 72 hours. Tk. 700 for the BSc in Nursing course and Tk. 500 for Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery and Diploma in Midwifery courses. Application fee to be paid through Teletalk.

Applicant’s copy containing a User ID will be provided to the candidate if the online application is successful. The applicant’s copy will contain instructions for payment of the application fee. Application fees should be paid through two SMS. The procedure for SMS is as follows.

First SMS: BNMC <space> user ID and send to 16222.

A PIN will be provided in the return message. The second SMS should be sent using this PIN.

Second SMS: BNMC <space> Yes <space> PIN and send the message to 16222.

After sending the second message, a confirmation message will be received. The confirmation message will contain a user ID and password, with this user ID and password, the admit card can be downloaded later.

Admission Test Mark Distribution

The admission test will be held in different question papers for B.Sc in Nursing, Diploma in Nursing and Diploma in Midwifery courses. Written admission tests will be conducted in the MCQ system. The duration of the admission test will be 1 hour and full marks will be 100. Course-wise mark distribution is as follows.

A. B.Sc in Nursing:

  • Bangla-20
  • English-20
  • Mathematics-10
  • Science-30 (Biology, Physics and Chemistry)
  • General knowledge – 20

B. Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery:

  • Bangla-20
  • English-20
  • Mathematics-10
  • General Science-25

C. Diploma in Midwifery:

  • Bangla-20

Candidates securing 40 marks or more in the admission test will be considered as passed. Among the passed candidates, based on the merit list, they will be considered eligible for admission to government institutions and the remaining passed candidates will be considered eligible to apply for admission to private institutions in the allotted seats.

Nursing Admission Circular 2024

Number of Seats

There are a total of 1280 seats for BSc in Nursing courses, 2780 seats for Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery courses, and 1825 seats for Diploma in Midwifery courses in various government nursing and midwifery institutes.

Nursing Admission Test Date

The Nursing Admission Test 2025 will be held on 3 May 2025, Friday. The admission test will be held from 10 AM to 11 AM. Admission tests for B.Sc and Diploma courses will be held simultaneously at different centers. The admission test date and instructions will be mentioned on the admit card.

Nursing Admission Admit Card 2025 Download

Nursing Admission Admit Card for the admission test will be released before the admission test. Admit cards can be downloaded from the bnmc.teletalk.com.bd website on the scheduled date. The nursing admit card download will start on 25 April 2025. It can be downloaded till the admission test. The release of the admit card will be informed to the applicant through SMS. Candidates can download Nursing Admit Card 2025 by logging in with their User ID and Password through the bnmc.teletalk.com.bd website. Even if the admit card is lost, the admit card can be collected through the same process.

Seat plan

The nursing Admission test admit card will mention the center of the admission test. The center selected by the candidate at the time of application, he/she has to attend the admission test in that center. The admit card will contain detailed information including the admission test center name, venue, and address.

Admission Test Result

Nursing Admission Result 2024 will be released after the admission test is completed. The result can be known from the website of the Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council. Also, the successful candidates will be informed about the result through SMS. A separate merit list and waiting list will be published for B.Sc in Nursing, Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery, and Diploma in Midwifery courses. A merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the admission test and results of the SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent examination. After admission from the merit list, admission will start from the waiting list. BNMC will publish multiple notifications for admission to vacant seats.

Admission to private institutions will be accepted according to the results published after the admission to the designated seats of the government nursing and midwifery institutions.
