Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) is a government medical college run by the Bangladesh Armed Forces. The admission process for the MBBS course has started at Amord Forces Medical College for the academic year 2023-2024. At the same time, the admission process has also started in the private 5 Army Medical Colleges run by the Welfare Trust of the Bangladesh Army. AFMC Admission Circular 2025 has already been published on the official website afmc.edu.bd.

AFMC Admission Circular 2025
AFMC Admission Circular 2024 has been Released by the authority According to the DGME Medial and Dental Policy 2023-2024. The circular was published on the official website of the Armed Forces Medical College (afmc.edu.bd) on January 11.
As per AFMC Admission Circular 2024, application will start on 14 January 2024, Sunday, at 11 AM. The AFMC application form can be filled out by 27 January 2024, Saturday 11.59 PM.
AFMC Admission Test Date
Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Admission Test will be held on 16 February 2024, Friday. The admission test will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The admission test will be held in Dhaka, Chittagong, Comilla, Jesshar, Bogra and Rangpur cantonments.
Application Eligibility
To apply for admission to the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), the applicant must have the following qualifications. Also, cadet candidates of AFMC and 5 Army Medical Colleges should be physically fit.
- Applicant must have passed the HSC/ ‘A’ Level/ Equivalent Examination in 2023 or 2022. Also, the candidate must have passed the SSC/ ‘O’ Level/ Equivalent Examination in 2021 or 2022.
- Candidate should have a minimum GPA of 9.00 in SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent examinations.
- In the case of tribal candidates aggregate GPA should be a minimum of 8.00. However, a GPA of at least 3.50 is required in any examination separately.
- All candidates must have passed the SSC/Equivalent Examination from Science Group and the HSC/Equivalent Examination with Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
- All candidates must have a minimum grade point of 4.00 in Biology in the HSC/Equivalent Examination.
- Candidates must be a citizen of Bangladesh and single.
- Candidate age should be a maximum of 20 years as of 01 July 2023.
AFMC Admission Form
Eligible candidates can fill out the AFMC Admission Application form online from 14 January 2024 (11.00 AM) to 27 January 2024 (11.59 PM).
The admission form should be filled out through the AFMC Admission official website (afmc.teletalk.com.bd). Detailed instructions including application Instructions, and application fee payment rules can be found here. At the time of filling out the application form, the photo and signature of the candidate must be uploaded in the prescribed format.
Application Fee Payment
After applying online, the applicant has to pay the prescribed application fee. Application fee of Tk 1000 can be paid through teletalk. Application fee payment rules will be mentioned in the applicant’s copy. The admission test center (code) has to be selected while paying the application fee. The application fee has to be paid through two SMS in total.
1st SMS: AFMC <space> User ID and send to 16222
A PIN will be issued with the applicant’s information on successful first SMS sending. Then send the second SMS mentioning this PIN.
2nd SMS: AFMC <space> YES <space> PIN <space> Center Codes and send to 16222
Enter the two center codes in the order of preference with a comma (,). The candidate’s application will be confirmed in the return message after the second SMS is successfully sent. The applicant’s User ID and password will be provided in the confirmation message. Later, the admit card can be downloaded by logging in with the user ID and password.

Admission Test Marks Distribution
Written Test (MCQ Method) = 100 Marks. Subject-wise marks distribution: Physics = 30, Chemistry = 30,
Biology = 30, English = 05, General Knowledge (History and Liberation War of Bangladesh) = 05. Syllabus: HSC/Equivalent.
0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in the written examination and candidates securing less than 40 marks out of 100 marks in the written examination will not be included in the merit list.
Admit Card Download
Eligible candidates for the Written Admission Test Can Download the AFMC Admit Card 2024 using their User ID and Password on 12 February 2024.
You can download the admit card from the same website (afmc.teletalk.com.bd) till 15 February 2024. The candidate’s roll number and examination date, time, center name, and question medium (Bengali/English) in the admit card will be mentioned. The admit card will later be accepted as the identity card of the candidate. If the admit card is lost, it can be re-downloaded from the same website. Candidates must come to the examination center with the admit card within 09.30 am on the scheduled date of the admission test.
Seat Plan
Admission written test in total 6 cantonments including Dhaka cantonment on Friday 16th February 2024
It will be held from 10.00 pm to 11.00 pm (a total of 1 hour). Candidates at the specified center in the cantonment mentioned in the admit card (Which he/she chose at the time of application) to appear in the examination to be held.
AFMC Admission Result 2024
The AFMC Result 2024 of the written test will be published on the afmc.teletalk.com.bd and afmc.edu.bd result 2024 websites and the notice board of the college and will be communicated through SMS to the mobile number of the candidate and guardian given in the application form.
From the Aggregated Marks of Candidates Passed in Previous Year HSC/’A’ Level/Equivalent Examination
05 (five) marks will be deducted. the position in the merit list will be determined by deducting 10.00 (ten) marks.
In the case of students who were Admitted to a Government Medical or Dental College/Unit in the academic year 2022-2023.
