The admission test for government and private medical colleges in Bangladesh for the 2025-2026 academic session was successfully completed on December 12, 2025. The Medical Admission Result 2025 is expected to be published on December 14 or 15, 2025. The Directorate General of Medical Education (DGME) will announce this result officially. The merit list will be released for the scheduled seats for admission to the government medical colleges. Also, the waiting list will be published simultaneously. After admission to government medical colleges from the merit list and waiting list, the admission process to private medical colleges will start.
The Medical Colleges Admission activities of the 2025-2026 academic year will be completed through multiple migrations. After that, the admission application to private medical colleges will be started centrally. Only those students who have passed the admission test (scoring 40 or above) can apply for admission to Non-government Medical Colleges.
Medical Admission Result 2025
Medical Admission Result 2025 is expected to be announced by December 15, 2025. A total of 1,22,632 students participated in this year’s admission test, fighting for their place in the medical fraternity. The admission test was held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM across various centers. Through this competitive exam, students will be admitted to MBBS courses in 5,100 seats of 37 government medical colleges of Bangladesh. This year, the number of seats in government medical colleges has been revised. After admission to the government medical colleges, the students will be admitted to the private medical colleges from the published results. There are approximately 6,001 seats in private medical colleges available for the upcoming session.
How to Check Medical Results?
Once published, all the students who have passed the admission test will be notified of the results through SMS. The Directorate of Medical Education (DGME) will notify the result through SMS to the passed students. Also, all the students can know the results from the Directorate General of Health website result.dghs.gov.bd and the Directorate General of Medical Education website dgme.gov.bd. Students can know which medical college they have been selected for admission to along with marks obtained in the admission exam, merit score, and merit order online. Results by SMS
Candidates cannot know Medical Admission Result 2025 by sending SMS by themselves. However, the DGME will notify the results through SMS to all the passed students. SMS will be sent to the student on the number mentioned in the application form.
Medical Admission Result 2025 PDF
The Directorate General of Medical Education (DGME) will publish a merit list against 5,100 seats in government medical colleges. The admission process will be done from this merit list. Detailed instructions regarding merit lists and admission will be available on the website. Medical Admission Result 2025 PDF can be downloaded from the dgme.gov.bd and dghs.gov.bd websites for the Merit List once officially released. The PDF will contain the roll numbers and allotted colleges of the selected candidates.
Medical Admission Result Waiting List
Along with the Merit List, the Medical Admission Result Waiting List 2025 will be published. If any student on the merit list does not complete the admission within the stipulated time, the admission will be taken from the waiting list. The medical waiting list can be found on the Directorate General of Medical Education website. This ensures that no government medical seat remains vacant.
Medical Admission Migration Result 2025
The admission program in the medical colleges will be completed in the academic year 2025-2026 through several migrations. The migration process will be conducted for all the students who complete their admission. It will be fully automatic. Migration will be conducted based on student scores and preferences submitted during the application process.
All the students who have passed the medical admission test and are selected for admission to the government medical college in the merit list must complete it within the stipulated time. After that, the admission process of private medical colleges will start. Students who have secured 40 or more marks in the admission test can apply for admission to different private medical colleges. Admission of students in private medical colleges will also be completed centrally.
