Government and Private Medical Colleges Admission Circular 2024-25 has been published in Bangladesh. On 10 January, the Directorate General of Medical Education DGME published the Medical Admission Circular 2025. Earlier, the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council published the Medical and Dental Admission Policy 2024-2025. MBBS Admission Circular has been published on the basis of the admission policy.
Medical Admission 2024-25
Medical admission application 2024-25 will start from 11 January 2025. Applications can be submitted till 23 January 2025. The application fee can be paid till 24 February 2025. The admission test will be held on February 9, 2025.
Candidates have to apply online to participate in the admission test like in other years. However, this year the admission website has been changed. Students need to apply through the dgme.teletalk.com.bd website. Changes have also been made in the exam center codes. So before filling out the admission form, you have to take a good look at the admission notice. The admission form should be filled and the application fee should be paid as per the instructions. Qualification/Eligibilities
Students have to apply online to participate in the admission test in government and private medical colleges in Bangladesh. The student must have the following qualifications to apply.
- Must be a citizen of Bangladesh.
- Must have passed HSC or equivalent examination in 2023 or 2024.
- Must have passed SSC / equivalent examination in 2022, 2021 or 2020.
- Both exams must have biology, physics and chemistry subjects.
- The total GPA in SSC / Equivalent and HSC / Equivalent examinations should be at least 9.00. However, students in hill districts must have a minimum GPA of 8.00.
- All candidates must have a minimum GPA of 3.50 in SSC / Equivalent and HSC / Equivalent examinations separately.
- All students must have a minimum grade point of 4.00 in Biology in SSC / Equivalent and HSC / Equivalent examinations.
Medical Admission Form 2025
The Medical Admission Application form 2025 for government and private medical colleges can be filled out from 11 January to 23 January 2025. After filling out the application form, the application fee has to be paid through Teletalk. Follow the instructions below to fill out the medical admission form.
- Visit dgme.teletalk.com.bd website.
- Enter SSC and HSC / equivalent options
- Click on the Next button.
- Provide SSC and HSC information.
- Enter the next step.
- Fill out the application form with the required information.
- Upload photo and signature.
- Submit the application form.
Application Fee Payment
After successfully applying online, the candidate has to pay the application fee. Failure to pay the application fee will result in the cancellation of the application. The application fee is Tk. 1000. The application fee can be paid by Teletalk. When paying the application fee, the student has to give the preference order of the admission test center. Application fees can be paid through two SMS.
1st SMS: MBBS <> User ID and send to 16222. Example: MBBS ABCD and Send to 16222.
2nd SMS: MBBS <> YES <> PIN <> center code (with comma) and send to 16222. Example: MBBS YES 12345 43,38,42,29 and Send to 16222.
Medical Admission Test Exam Center
There have been some changes in the admission test center code this year. At the Payment time of the admission test application fee, the student has to provide the admission test centers preference order. A total of four center codes have to be provided by choice. MBBS Admission Test Marks Distribution
The admission test will be held in full syllabus this year. The admission test will be in the MCQ method. A total of 100 marks admission test will be taken. Duration is 1 hour for 100 questions. The 0.25 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. In addition, the result of the SSC and HSC equivalent examinations will be considered 200 marks. Subject wise marks distribution is-

Medical Admit Card
MBBS Admission Test Admit Card 2024 can be downloaded from February 5, 2025. Admit Card can be downloaded till February 7, 2025. No, the admit card can be downloaded beyond the stipulated time limit. The student will be informed about the issue of admit cards through SMS. The downloaded admit card and the original registration card of the HSC / equivalent examination must be taken in the exam hall.
Medical Admission Results 2025
Admission test results will be prepared based on a total of 300 marks. 100 marks will be considered for the admission test and 200 marks for HSC and SSC results. Those who get less than 40 marks on the admission test will be considered unsuccessful. Only the successful candidates will be selected on the merit list. 5.00 marks will be deducted from the marks obtained by the participants in the second time admission test. In addition, the number of students who have already been admitted to any government medical or dental college will be deducted 10 marks.
The Admission Test Result will be available through the result.dghs.gov.bd and dgme.gov.bd website. Candidates who will pass the Admission test will be notified through SMS.
