MATS and IHT Admission Guide 2025

Currently, there are 23 Government Institutes of Health Technology (IHT) and 16 Medical Assistant Training Schools (MATS) in Bangladesh. There are also private MATS and IHT. Admission to all government and private IHTs and MATSs is done centrally. MATS IHT Admission 2025 information has been published for the 4-year Diploma in Medical Assistant Training Courses and 4-year Diploma in Medical Technology Course.

MATS IHT Admission Circular 2025

MATS IHT Admission Circular 2025 has been Released. The notification was published on the Directorate General of Medical Education website dgme.gov.bd for the 2025-2026 academic session. As per the notification, online application for admission to the 4-year diploma course was required. All admission-related activities are done through the dgme.teletalk.com.bd website.

Eligible and interested students could apply online. Let’s take a look at the important information of the admission test 2025-26.

• Starting Date of Online Application: 25 August 2025, 10 AM
• Last Date to Apply: 15 September 2025, 11:59 PM.
• Admit Card Download: 19 October 2025 to 21 October 2025
• Date of Exam: 24 October 2025, Friday, Time 1 Hour (10 am to 11 am)
• Application Fee: 700 Tk

Application Eligibility

The candidate should possess the following qualifications to apply for the 4-year Diploma Course in Government and Private IHT and MATS in the academic year 2025-26.

• The candidate must be a citizen of Bangladesh.
• Candidate must have passed the SSC/equivalent examination in the science group from 2021 to 2025.
• Candidate must have obtained a minimum GPA of 3.00 in SSC or equivalent examination.
• Biology must be a compulsory subject, and a minimum GPA of 2.00 in Biology is required.

MATS IHT Admission Application

An applicant can give a maximum of 6 choices for MATS and IHT in case of SMS and online application. Before applying, write down these details and keep them with you. The things required to apply are-

• SSC/Equivalent Examination Board, Roll, and Exam Year.
• Code of the center for which the admission test is to be conducted
• IHT Subject Code (Table-1)
• MATS Code (Table 3)
• Division code of the candidate’s district (Table 4)
• A mobile number of the candidate.

IHT MATS Admission Form 2025

IHT MATS Admission Application can be done through dgme.teletalk.com.bd. Payment should be completed through two SMS in total. The Application Process are given below.

1. Access dgme.teletalk.com.bd
2. Go to the IHT/MATS Admission Link.
3. Click on the “Application form”.
4. Fill up the Admission form with the Required Information.
5. Upload the applicant’s photograph (300 x 300 pixels) and text (300 x 80 pixels).
6. Submit the Application and Print it.

Payment Instruction

1. 1st SMS:IHTM <space> User ID and send the message to 16222. (Example: IHTM FRLGCT)
   • After sending the first message, the return message will provide a PIN along with the student’s information. The second message should be sent using this PIN.
2. 2nd SMS:IHTM <space> YES <space> PIN <space> Center Code and send to 16222.
   • If the second message is successfully sent, a confirmation message with candidate information, a user ID, and a password will be received.

MATS IHT Admit Card 2025 Download

Candidates could download the IHT MATS Admit Card 2025 from 19 October 2025 to 21 October 2025 after applying. Candidates must download the admit card within the stipulated date. The admit card can be downloaded by logging in with the user ID and password received in the confirmation message through the dgme teletalk com bd website. The procedure to be followed to download the admit card is-

1. Visit the dgme.teletalk.com.bd website.
2. Access the MATS/IHT Admission link.
3. Log in with your User ID and Password.
4. Click on the submit button.
5. Download and print the PDF file.

The IHT MATS Admit Card 2025 will mention the date, time, center, and all other details of the admission test. Candidates must follow all the instructions mentioned in the admit card.

Admission Test Mark Distribution

IHT MATS Admission Test 2025 will be held as per the SSC/Equivalent Exam Syllabus. An admission test of a total of 100 marks will be held. The exam duration is 1 hour. The written examination will be held in MCQ mode. Subject-wise distribution of marks will be:

• Bangla- 15
• English- 15
• Mathematics- 15
• Physics- 15
• Chemistry- 15
• Biology- 15
• General Knowledge (History and Liberation War of Bangladesh)- 10

MATS IHT Admission Result

MATS IHT Admission Result 2025 will be released based on the marks obtained in the admission test and SSC result. The merit list is prepared based on the written test score (100 marks) plus (SSC GPA x 20). Along with the merit list, the waiting list will also be published.

The waiting list will also be made faculty wise on the basis of merit. The waiting list will be based on the merit order of the candidates. If the selected candidate is unable to get admission within the specified time, it will be filled from the waiting list. IHT MATS Merit list and waiting list will be released simultaneously.
